Well, at the start of the thread, he asked what kind of car you were into. I just happened to be looking at a 79 Celica that I liked. Turns out, I bought it. So my first response was that I liked 79 Celicas. My second was that I had purchased one. It's got a brand new engine, brand new transmission, and new brakes in it. It just needs a new rear axle. Not bad for 500? The engine alone is worth over a thousand.

Anyway, for a European it's so funny to see you all drive cars our parents would usually buy. In NL for instance a large amount of the car's price goes to the government when you buy a new car, which is called BPM. In America you don't have that plus your car manufacturers have this huge solid national market which allows them to sell cars for less. The cars you drive for instance could never be bought here by us (Dutch youth) simply because of the BPM. And offcourse the fuel prices.
