Need Help Please

I am playing American McGee's Alice on the computer (windows). I warped from Rolling Stones to Icy Reception and I lost all my weapons. I've tried the 'wuss', 'give', and 'give all' cheats, but for some reason or other they don't seem to work. Any help would be great. Thanks!!

Did you type in sv_cheats 1? It normally tells you that it is read only, so add it to end of the exe in the properties box of the icon you use to start the game. And, are you sure those are the right commands?

American McGee's Alice!?!! The game that made me to upgrade my computer for the first time!?! Woooooooo!!!!! Yeah!!!!!

Wait... what the fuck!!!! You skipped the level!?! Rolling Stone was like one of the best levels since there were PC games!!! You skipped it???

Well, the same stone come to you again in icy reception anyway...

All the basic Quake III cheats should work in this game, too. Because it uses the Quake III engine... Give all should work... I'm not sure why but sometimes they don't work in certain level... use no clip cheat and go to the place where you should meet the caterpillar, advanced into the fongeferous flora level, and the re-try the cheat again. They should work now.

Why would I? It's not like it's in plain view. You have to look at the thread it is on. Right? If I wanted to look at it I would, but I don't want to, therefore I don't look at it. I'm very rarely, if at all, offended.

People do what THEY want to do, not what I or YOU want them to do. That's life. So it's pretty pointless to let anything bother you. Personally, I got better things to do.

The fact that wmgreer is a woman didn't interest me that much. The fact that wmgreer plays American McGee's Alice, though, made me very happy. Isn't that game one of the most well-rounded and styled shooter there has been? And it used Quake 3's engine well... great graphics everywhere!!!

The only problem I had with this game are:

1) Jabberwock is too hard to beat. In my opinion, he is a lot harder than the final boss.

2) This game could really be longer. Maybe someone should make a mod and continues her adventure.

It is truely one of the best games I have played in a long time. The graphics, down to the last detail, were great. Yian is right though. Jabberwock is a lot harder than the final boss and the game could have been a bit longer. Also I think the ending (after Alice beats the final boss) could have been better. But, all-in-all, a truely great game. I recommend it to everybody.:cool:
