I'm not looking for attention, I've actually got the game installed right now. I've been reduced to using daemon tools and safedisc4 hider to play it, but it works nonetheless.

Needless to say, I've obtained my copy somewhat 'illegally', but i don't give a shit. Sue me.

And speaking of sharing screenshots or some other shit with you people, that is out of the question, these things have a tendency to spread around real quick, I don't want to be responsible for this game to be delayed any further.
I received an email from my sources at approximately 9am this morning (AEST) that contained a rather blunt warning about my little torrent comment. I'm sorry I have to do this to you guys.

Although I'm not allowed to talk about any specifics pertaining to the game, I am allowed to tell you that it is being extensively tested and IS coming out SOMETIME in 2006, IT IS. This time it is.

Altough I'm not a tester, and am not supposed to have this game, I have it, and the damage is done, I don't want to inflict anymore damage by sharing my fortune with others.

I will say one other thing however, and it's pissing me off too. My geforce6800 Ultra is eating shit right now, I'm easily getting no more than 25fps out of it on highest settings and this on only a 1280x1024 resolution, the highest my lcd can obtain.

I think optimization is in order, but maybe it's intended to be a fucking hog, eating all my ram like it was nothing, and I have 1GB, run duke, I'm down from 790mb free to 110mb.

I'll tell youz one final thing, this game is amazing. Literally everything is interactive. Every little item.

Well that's not a very nice thing to say, is it?

Dukes foot makes a very prominent return, as well as the generic shit, the pipe bombs, the shrinker, laser trip bombs, etc. There are about 20 new weapons on top of this however.

On of them is the cracker (funny name, very unfunny effects). Trust me, you don't want to be 'cracked' with this thing.

Another relatively funky item (not really weapon) are cherry bombs. They are useless but you can throw them and they result in very pissy explosions that do nothing to your enemies. (one of which is a large slug with breasts lol)

A tactical nuke launcher is also in, you guys played tribes? Well similar shit, this things basically sterilises a large section of a lvl, hurts you a little, and walking into the blast area will deplete your health slowly, so you'd better finish up fast before you die.

The plasma gun, with it's charge up is back in, my favourite by the way.

To hell with this. Maybe I'll post some screenshots, just to teach you fuckers a lesson in humility huh?
