Why Best Buy Sucks

A good friend of mine recently purchased a computer and various other upgrades for that f rom best buy, about 3200 total. This ofcourse was after i told him i could get him the stuff for alot cheaper. So anyway they got the computer home last Monday, and they called me Thursday to tell me that it was having problems. So i went over just guessing that they had the monitor connected to the motherboard and not the 7800 gt that he had, or either just didn't have something conected to the right place.

So when i arrive they tell me that none of the Dvd drives are working, there is no sound, and the monitor is fuzzy. So i check the hardware installed, and the Drives had never been completly configured (It's some wierd error with some of the media center PC's), and the sound card/video card drivers had never been installed. This should have been done by the geek squad, but it was very clearely not. The computer is very state of the art, and the geek squad had not even told them about any of the connectors or about how your supposed to connect the speakers to the sound card jack. So this increases my dislike for best buy even more, and if anyone happens to work at one, make sure none of this happens where you work, because the one here lost quite a few custoumers becuase of the families talks with other friends.

When i was working in this software shop, I've had many, many dumbasses who come back screaming bloody murder because the discs won't run on their players.

Of course DVDs won't run on VCD players right stupid shits? I'd have thought that almost everyone would know that, considering the fact that DVDs have become very common nowadays. But noooo. FFS the packing even says "DVD" in big huge letters.
