PWN means own, as in something got owned (beaten) by something else
noob mean Newbie, someone who is new to what ever they are currently doing
Aggro mean Aggrevation. I'm guessing you're a WoW nub (same as noob) and are hearing these words. Well in that case, check the back of the manual, it'll tell you about a lot of the accrynyms you need.

Yian, in games like Guild Wars and WoW your character has a certain "safe zone", usually in a circular radius around your character. As long as you don't stupidly run too close a creep, it won't detect you and thus wont attack at an inopportune moment.

Usually n00bs just rush and aggro a whole horde of uber-level monsters, runs back screaming in terror to his unfortunate team, then gets everyone killed.

Just to get this out. A noob and a newbie are not the same thing. Well going by what people in Guild Wars think its not.
