I've been going to this site for a long time. Just wonderin if anyone else goes here. It's a system test that's informative. One of their products sped up my intro-web speed a whole 1000kbps!

I hate to be cynical, wait, no, actually I like being cynical. How does it work that one of THEIR products sped up a test from THEIR benchmark? Hmmm, did you see any real-world improvements?

OH, and I just thought about it, shouldn't this be in the software section of the forum? Digital, Smap?

Forget it, that's not the way things work here :p

yeah I actually did notice an advantage. DL speed is usually 250ish, after the optimize thing, it was 360ish. The connection speed to websites went from 1500kbps to 2500kbps. The cool thing is it has defaults so you can go back to windows settings if you like. I put this in the hardware because it seems like a hardware benchmark and it's off the internet. Oh and I used a different site that measures upload and download speeds completly unrelated to PCPitstop.
Hold on, I'll find that site... It's pretty cool and useful.
