I'll be getting this from Monarch Computer. Please don't rant about why I should build it myself, I've heard all the arguments and I have my own reasons for not doing so.

Will also be pulling my Santa Cruz Turtle Beach out of this computer, as well as a backup CD-RW.

For a monitor I will be getting a ViewSonic 19" G90F Rev 3 .21mm CRT. It will be nice to have a monitor with a stand again. :p

How much are those parts going to cost you?

Modem: Because I'm in the country, we're on satellite internet, and I use a modem as a backup in case the satellite internet is pissing me off. We used to have four or five laying around but I couldn't find any the other day, so meh.

Monitor: Last I heard CRTs are still the best for gaming and in general, not to mention they're cheaper. Weight and room isn't a problem. :p

Cost: $2800 or thereabouts. I could cut it by several hundred if I wanted to (DVD±RW drive, fancy-smancy hard drives, RAM, CPU, etc.) and still get a good computer, but I've languished on my 2GHz P4/256MB RAM/128MB Radeon 9550 long enough, thank you. ;)

Well, I would swap the piece of shit A8N-E with an ASUS A8N SLI Premium but that's just me. Also because premium owns some serious ass.

no.

i dont understand why people still go for CRT monitors. IMO LCD is clearly superior, ive had my Acer 17incher for 2 years now and it's still sweeter than any tube ive ever seen. the colours are spot on, no glare... how can a 15ms response time get in the way? seriously, can anyone here actually see shit that fast?

You're blowing cash to get a 600w psu that you don't need, and then turning around and buying a 19 inch screen...

Fix your priorities and I'll congradulate you on a job well done.

If you're ordering from Newegg, you could have changed your order. Or simply return them saying you bought the wrong items.
