Good Earbud Headphones

I've now ordered a 30 gig Ipod video, which should be here hopefully by friday, and am looking to get a nice pair of earbud headphones to go with it. I'm thinking that about $60 would be the spending limit, so what suggestions do you guys have for a good pair or brand in that price range? Personal experience with them would be preferable, rather than just going off what the magical internet says.

stick with the ipod phones, maybe. i havent been been able to find anything better than them, except the in-ear phones, which aren't too bad but dont fit for some people

I haven't liked the Ipod ones when I've used them on friend's Ipods, not to mention they're bright white and not very discreet when listening in class.

I like the 20$ Sony ones with the wrap around thing on the ear. They're white, look and feel great, and I totally want to bone them.

I'm trying to stay away from the wrap around thing with the ear, and especially from the white color if possible. I'm gonna use these in some classes, and white isn't exactly the easiest color to hide. At least black is somewhat less noticable.

Anyways, anybody else have any decent suggestions for a pair? So far I'm likin the ones Hobbes suggested, but still open for suggestions.

How "in-ear" are you willing to go? Are we talking foreplay, or full-on penetration?

Hey Speeday, I think any headphones called "ear buds" are the full insertion kind. I've seen the clip on kind that go over the ear lobe but anything earbud has always been deep penetration.

The ear canal phones are an over kill for an ipod. The power requirements are met only by a music system plugged on AC other wise its very bulky which defeats the very purpose of an ipod ( mobility ). Also i've seen amps for these phones and they are way too expensive.

Was searching around for good headphones, and ended up finding the EX71s anyways, so I settled on those. Ordered them a few days ago, and they got to my mom's house today. Sadly, I'm not there to test them out till sunday, but that's alright, I'm sure they'll work out fine.
