What is a decent, easy, cheap video editing software. I am trying to make a short clip for class out of some mpeg and divx stuff.

Well, if you have WindowsXP and can't afford good editing software. Just download the update to the built in video editing software that comes with windows. It still sucks, but its much better then the first version.

one of the problem of that videon editor from WindowXP is that after you combine several clips it changes the quality of te video... usually to the worse for some reason... I didn't like. Ray is pretty much right about that, it sucks...

Well I don't have windows xp and probably wont get it because i hav win2k. I like it better. Thanks for the replies so far though.
