Hordes of the Underdark

Hey. I'm trying to get into the Beholder cave and I can't figure out the puzzle to get across the bridge. I've been trying for like an hour it seems. Any help would be appreciated.

Could you give some more clues? i can't remember, played it some years ago.

You're in the Underdark with the drow rebels and you have to go see if the beholders and the mind flayers will switch their alliance with the bad guy to side with you (or kill them) To get to the Beholder cave there is a bridge you have to cross, butyou have to rearrange the symbols on the bridge lever to get the bridge to appear.
