Saw it yesterday. I liked it. The CGI creatures were cool and the story is neat (although slightly too sacharine for my tastes, but it is a kids story after all). The only thing that bothered me is that I found the older girl hot, and don't know her age, so it's possibly jailbaiting.

It sucked shit. Why the hell would these three shithead kids be tasked with saving the world? And really, towards the end when that faggot 12 year old brat is wearing armor and ordering the army to charge was cheesier than Manowar. And then he got wounded. Oh yeah, that's some real suspense there! I already know that the younger bitch brat has those healing drops because I saw the old prick giving them to her. The beavers, holy shit, I'm not even going to say anything about them. Or the goat man. It's the same problem I had with Lord of the Rings. The "hero" was a midget who always had a crying face on, and his sidekick was a fat idiot. Whatever happened to heroes that are actually awesome? I mean, isn't that kind of a requirement to be a hero? Like Rambo or Conan.

And yes, she's 17, jailbait. I know this because I tried looking for nudes. I wouldn't go to jail because I'm 17, so it's okay.

'twas a kids movie, and an awesome one at that. pretty much everyone ive talked to about it didnt like it, and when i reminded them it was a kids novel from the 50's, i think it all made sense to them.

music, btw was fucking top notch

cheer up tisl, not every hero who saves the day can be a 250 pound - o' muscle meat head like you :p

I liked what they did with the movie, much better than the older movies, but it didn't have any surprises because I read the books when I was little. I also watched the older movies, obviously. So there was just no suspense for me. But I did like the movie, my boyfriend loved it but he had never read the books and didn't know the plot.

Then your issue is with the story, not the movie. What the hell did you expect, a 6'10" 250 lb Frodo? Besides, what about Aragorn?

I liked the movie. It was told well. It felt a little rushed though.

He was a fag. Look, the only cool character in that entire story is Gimili, the dwarf. Oh and Gandalf too, because of the whole "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" thing. The rest were lame.

I read the title of this thread and thought about you shoving your thumbs up the movie's ass.

DL, you are one sick puppy. Tisl, you're clearly expressing your anger at having a microscopic dick.

Gandalf was the only fag in LOTR, but only because Ian McKellen is gay

This movie was crap, only for the fact that it was blatantly the bible. It would have been good otherwise.

Big deal. I'm an atheist and yet I don't care that it's obviously a biblical allegory. If you want to get pissed off every time someone in western civilisation references the Bible, prepare to stay pissed off for a long, long time.

I saw it last night and it was pretty good, not the pretty fucking cool shit grade of a movie though. Overall, the movie felt new to me since I had totally forgotten about the narnia shit ages ago and didn't know jack about what would happen except that the lion dies. Overall, if the fucker could kill the fucking witch in one fucking blow, why the fuck did the lion not kill the witch to begin with when they were in the tent trying to get it on.

Apart from that, since the ending was severely rushed I would give it a 3.5/5 stars. It could've been epic but I guess not everyone knows how to make an epic movie. I guess they wanted the film to be complete in 2 hours or something. Anyways, good movie, do watch it.

Deep magic, laws about traitors and all that, or something. I don't know. But I agree that the movie was good, but not epic. Hey, it's based off of a kid's book, so I wasn't expecting it to be ZOMGZ awesome anyways.
