He can't make eye-contact, he stutters, and he generally just clams up, especially if he doesn't know you too well. Aside from that, the kid's smart as a whip. The symptoms usually surface in early-adolescence, so if you've made it this far, I think you're doing alright.

Having read a (fiction) book* about a guy with Asperger's Syndrome and read about the symptoms and what-not, I kinda doubt that any of the people here have it. It's not just having shitty social skills, it's having essentially no social skills. They're also smart as hell, at least when it comes to organised things like math and physics. They like lists because they're organised as well. They can have certain tics- the protagonist of the book hated the colours yellow and brown and refused to eat them. Oh, and they apparently have photographic memories as well (according to the book, again.)

Obviously there are mild and extreme cases. But with Asperger's Syndrome it doesn't seem like you can have it "mildly" because it's pretty extreme.
