Who's going? If you are, kill yourself and give me your badge.
E3 2006 takes place May 10-12, 2006 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Not at all, just raising awareness. Its well known that if you're not affiliated with the big exhibitors or press giants, that now would be the best time to register for the exhibition package if people haven't already.
edit:
i.e. I'm positive even remote affiliations to the gaming industry, i.e. wal-mart/ebgames employees, are considered for admittance.
I would just like to see what type of playable demos Sony has lined up for ps3, considering May is the last month of spring, otherwise slated ps3 release date.

E3 2006 is not open to the general public. You must be part of the interactive entertainment industry in order to attend the show, and you must be able to provide documentation demonstrating your direct and current professional affiliation in this industry. If you are from the retail sector, you must be selected by your parent company to attend. For other affiliated industries attendance is limited and late registrations may be denied. To be considered for registration, two forms of industry ID must accompany your application. At least one form of industry ID must contain your name and the name of the company where you work. Incomplete applications will not be processed, and the Management of E3 2006 reserves the right to deny any applicant admission.

They don't enforce that well at all, and trust me, E3 sort of sucks. Especially if you're a member of the press. Fuck the people with blue badges.

I think it'd be great to be able to skip to the highlights, but from what I can see it looks:
Hot, humid, tiring, and time consuming with tons of time spent in lines, and wading through hordes of retarded professionals.
