Freedom First Resistance help needed !!!

damn....is there noone on this planet that has actually gone past mission 3 of this game ??? cos I scourged the net for a walkthrough of this game and all I got was a guide upto mission 3 which even I completed w/o a walkthrough...and now tht I am stuck in mission 4(in The Sewers) theres seems to be no damn walkthrough on how to find tht god-damn guy in the sewers somewhere...the whole place is a warped maze and I just dont know how to get out of tht place....can anyone please help me in this insane journey ? :) i know i am playing a very old game...and i have got so many newer games lying around to complete (eg. project igi 2, hidden&dangerous 2, gta3, sof II) but still it frustrates me tht i havent completed this game ...something which i should have done a long time back...so a little bit of help would be really appreciated...i am new to this forum...and i hope i wont be disappointed ...

I never actually played the game but I got this file from the web... it is a trainer that enable all the levels. I say skip this level and proceed to the next... Hope that thing works because I couldn't have possible tried it since I didn't even play this game.

well i did try the file....all it did was just show all the levels in "load game" and when i go to click the 4th mission which apparently is factory...it goes to the campaign map and the only site u can click on is the mall which is the sdtarting site for the campaign...same thing happened for all the other levels tht i tried to load...so basically even thouh all the levels show up in the load game menu...i still cannot play them cos it eventually goes to the campaign map with the only option of mall(mission 1) so even if i complete the mall and the streets(mission 2) i'll agaain land up in the sewers(mission 3) where i get stuck up ...hmmmm......? :(

Oh, so that's what that file does.... hummmm........ Sorry to hear that. I did some search over the internet, and just like you, I could only find that one-and-only walkthrough, which goes as far as level 3...

Well, I would just take a break on a game when I couldn't beat it. You see, this really has nothing to so with you, but the game design itself. This game isn't well designed at the first place...

I see a lot of great games on your wait-to-finish list. Why don't you try something different? I don't know about IGI2 and hidden&dangerous 2 (heard bad opinions on them), but SOFII is a blast and definitely needs everyone's attention. GTS3 is very good, too.

no...this is the dude i meet at the starting of the level 3 and going further into the sewers i meet a chic who says tht she'll give me something if i manage to find her brother who is trapped in the sewers somewhere...i have explored the goddamn sewers thoroughly and it seems to be a 2 layered sewer....anyways i am stuck at the point where some deadly gas is emanating from ...and i also have located the lever to turn it off...but only tht i cant turn it off...cos it mention...conditions not met ...and i am just wondering wt conditions r those tht i havent met ....hmm...grrrrrr...i really find it hard to believe tht for a red storm entertainment game theres only 1 goddamn frigging walkthrough over the entire internet...i mean u r talking abt billions of people world wide and only 1 person has put up a walkthrough...tht too an incomplkete one ? am i missing something here...god i could be famous here if i actually manage to go past this level or for tht matter fo fact anyone who plays the game and does tht,....dont u guys wanna give it a try at all ? :confused:

AHHHHHH, Help! I too am stuck on the same level, the sewers seem to go all over the place and loop back around but never seem to go to the level where the guy we are suposed t find is. I have been stuck on this level for sometime now and can relate to the frustration. I searched online hoping to get somehelpful hints to find out I'm not the only one. GRRRRRR. If ANYONE figures out how to find the guy in the sewer and meet all the conditions to move on the the next leel, it would be very much appreciated.

If I figure out anything on my end, I will keep you posted.

First of all, be honest with you, that game is a piece of shit. I tried my best to help you, though. As I said, play something else. A poor designed game with a poor designed level deserves no discussion at the first place. I'm sick and tired of giving my efforts out without even getting a thanks.

If this is a good game and lots of people played it, you get your answer already. The fact is that this game is so bad and so outdated, no one wants to discuss it and no one will bother to re-install the game, go through all the levels, just to find an answer for you. I have done that to Darkened Skye, but I'm not going to BUY this game just to find a fucking dickhead in that so-called sewer.

Sorry dude, I don't know what else to tell you, but there might be some one pass by who happen to know the answer and tip you. For now, you're out of luck.

Well I am happy to say I have found the guy in the sewer piece of sh*t game or not. If you are still interested, here is what I did:

I changed from Angel to Jimmy (I think that is what he is named) well anyway the guy she is on this mission with and grouped both characters together, I also went into my inventoryand gave Jimmy the scavenger token ( I have no idea if this was relevant or not) then I had both Jimmy and Angel walk quickly through the poisonous gas cloud from the right (the caution signs will be on your left and the gas is coming from the right). That is where the closed entrance will be but quickly move through the gas do not stop just pass the entrance. You will lose some of your health doing this but continue down the corridor till you reach the valve and Jimmy and you should get prompted to hit the action key, he will turn the valve. found when I approached the valve the safe way, the message all condition not yet met still appeared. Note, this does not shut off the gas but opens the entrance under the gas, quickly move both characters through the opening. There will be medical supplies on the other side but only for one character. I don't want to tell you too much but search the area for more stuff and hit any levers etc you find. You will eventually find the guy you are looking for etc. etc and when you complete another mission you go to the next level. Good Luck. Hope this helps.

hey thanks a million bewithched....tht sure worked...though giving the scavenger token to jimmy didnt help much.....its just tht he is the strong dude so only he could turn the valve and then just like u said once u r past the gas n into the weird lair of leo....it becomes easy from there on...and anywyas u find one more scavenger token in the train which is used for ID purposes...

well..so tht finally finishes my month long ordeal on an already accepted shitty game by consensus...:) but i must admit though tht i am tempted to go on n finish this game n get it out of sights once n for all...so ill keep u guys updated on my progress...(though i know noone would care a shit abt it annyways :) )

p.s. btw...the next 3 options tht i get after completing the sewers level is the factory, hospital and back to the mall again....i am working on the mall level...and i swear if i finsih this game soon ill make my first ever walkthrough and boy will i be famous ? ehehhe...cos as u mite be aware of it by now tht there's only one f***ing walkthrough n tht is only upto the 3rd level....hmm...hey anyone wanna race to the finsih here ? :) u listening bewitched ? :)

So glad you made it through Loverboyrulz....I didn't think the scavenger had any relevance but did that in combination with switching to the charater....Yes I noticed too that there is only 1 walk thru to the 3rd leel, I know I am going to play this one through with respect to racing....that would be fun but I'm sure I would be last, haven't had much time to play with work and all....you know what they say....all work and no play...well the plus side of this is I only spent $5.99 on this game....good luck on the rest of the levels. If I get stuck or vice versa I will check back.....on your mark... get set....go!

Loverboy...I have finished the mall too and am now in the hospital, haven't had a chance since Sunday and the rest of the week doesn't look promising to contine but have two more tasks in the hospital before I can continue to my next mission....will keep you posted.:D

wow !!! looks like we made the exact same choice over the order of levels ....cos i havent started the factory yet ...and even i have two tasks remaining in the hospital...and if my instincts r good....i think the ones remaing for both of us r the same ... cos they seem a bit trick to me...well as for me i have to get into the computer database n get the research papers n the other one i cant recollect now...but basically i have found the medical supplies and also found the incriminating evidence agaisnt tht dickhead in-charge of the hospital...killed some huge motherfuckers (3 of them to be precise)...cant get into 1 room...door is locked and in the office cant pull the lever or access the computer with the passcodes...both cases it says conditions not met....well thts my status...keep updating yrs...and good luck :) oh by the way ? did u get the bonus in the mall....i.e. did u get the next clue wtever it was in thje service corridor ? i fuking even understand where the service corridor was ?? :) i just got the duty roster, put my tail between my legs n ran out of there...and completed the mission...so let me know tht too....take care man !

If I remeber correctly, make sure Leo has the passcodes in his possession and then he will do the action sequence, I believe then you will find the key in that room (really am not sure if that is what you will find it or may may find a safe on the floor, that you have to use te freezing chemical to break the safe to get a key) I wish I could remember more but let me know how you do, good luck;)

Loverboyz, glad to hear that you mad it throuh the hospital, yes factory was pretty easy. My memory is going but after that mission went back down to the sewers to get collect some info (no combat), then did the street level mission, the next mission after that was to the factory owners home, then back to the mall to find Al Jimmy's brother and now searching city hall I belive and after that have a third mission on this level to rescue someone. Don't want to give to much info to spoil things but a few of the above missions are pretty short.

That's about it, was wondering how you made out in the hospital.

hey bewitched...as for your question on how to post screenshots...well when u reply to a post...in tht screen right at the bottom u have an option to Attach file wherein you can post any image that u mite have on yr hard drive but just make sure its of the following formats only..."gif jpg png txt zip bmp jpeg rar tar" or it wont allow u to post the image...personally i prefer jpg because they r the most compressed format of an image....and .bmp's r the most dreadful so avoid them cos i think there's a size limit also on the images tht u can post ...

and as for the hospitazl part...well as i said only the leo dude could operate the computer and get sccess to research evidence part 2 and then the vial of acid i had i mixed it with some antigen or some shit like tht annd then viewed it under the microscope to complete the mission...thts all
