More Abu Gharib photos surface

More Abu Gharib photos have surfaced and they are by far so much more worse than the ones we saw before. I mean sure it wasn't right before, but those looked like merely endurance draining and humiliation photos. These are the direct opposite and are quite graphic showing beaten, bloody Iraqi prisoners. I'm all for stopping terrorism with the rest of the world. But seriously these photos are sick and make me dislike what our government is doing even more so. I'm glad Bush signed John McCain's torture stoppage bill, but will it stop these sick and twisted soldiers we have working in the prisons as "interrogaters" from doing what they are doing, probably not.

John McCain was on The Daily Show a while ago, and he said something that I think sums up why free and democratic countries should abstain from torture. He said that when he was in a Vietnamese POW camp being tortured, at least he knew that his
country wouldn't be so low as to torture prisoners.

Some of you might call that a weak liberal approach, but if you really believe torture is ok, then answer this: What makes the US any more moral or right than the people it fights if it does the same thing to them?

Great more USA bashing. Your government probably tortures people too, just you're not in a war so there's not enough going on to make anyone notice it.

I'm not disagreeing with you however, most of the people that join the army around here are of less than average intelligence and just want to hurt something because they were abused as children.

I don't agree with what went on in Abu Ghraib, and I am against torture in almost all cases, but the whole thing seems blown out of proportion. Do you really care if some muslim assholes got tortured? They would probably do the same if not worse had they been given the chance. War is war, you can't keep everything "civil" in cases like this.
