:p Im new to pc gaming, ive loaded far cry but i cant get the picture right, i can only see jack carver but he is like all white and everything else is either blue or white. what do i need to do to correct this.please i need someone to walk me through what i need to do.

firstly, make sure the game can run on your computer. far cry is pretty demanding, and you're going to want a semi up to date machine to run it. after that, you need to tone down the settings until you can get it to work. if you can find a configuration tool for far cry without loading the game, go in and tone everything down. if it sounds cool, turn it off. if it has a bar with a selecty-thingy, drop it to the bottom. if its just numbers, choose the least, and turn it off if possible.

I have 512mb and my video card is nvidia ge force fx5200 is that sufficient info.

I ran Far Cry on a 5200 a while back. It should run (albeit ugly) on your system.

Make sure you uninstall the old drivers first. Go to the Control Panel, then to Add/Remove programs.

Trust me, not doing that is a bad, bad thing. Old drivers mess up the newer ones, trust me.
