Aside from the fact that he's trying to fool people into doing referrals for him, the idea is legitimate. My brother got a Mac Mini through that site and sold it on eBay for a nice profit. Basically, you get people to do certain "offers" for you, such as signing up for a magazine subscription, getting a free pack of diet pills, and such, and once you reach a certain amount, you get your item. Most of the offers don't cost anything, provided you opt out of them after the free trial has ended.

So this guy is pretty much just trying to get people to sign up and complete offers for him so he can get his xbox 360. These sites are set up to organize offer trading (you do one for someone, and they'll do one for you). It's a novel idea, and works well, but takes a lot of time and effort to organize everything.

Sure, the games are lacking, but the system on its own is the sleakest thing ever released.
