Anyone like the jak series? I thought it was cool of naughty dog to release a jak dvd trilogy in anticipation for jak 3. I have jak 3 now and beat it so I got the jak dvd trilogy a bit late but thats ok heh. The sucky thing is i paid for mine on ebay but I couldve gotten it at this contest at jakxdvd.com, but eh whatever, at least I can say my jak collection is complete, nearly...

How do you guys think the story from the games compares? Did ratchet and clank have a movie like jak did? It'd be awesome if I could own em both if there is one, but this jak movie seems to be so hard to come by as it is.

i got the movie with the game when I bought it online. Not sure if you can actually still get the movie now though. Prolly why they are running that contest on jakxdvd.com. I'd suggest entering if you don't have it. 90 minutes long and looks great on the big screen!

i got the game a last week and i did not get the dvd with it. All i got was a flyer telling to me to go jakxdvd.com. There was a hidden trailer in the game that i found. The dvd looks sweet. I am going to enter the contest and i hope that i win the dvd

Yeah the dvd does seem pretty rare, I'm wonering if it was actually given away with jak x for awhile or what, it would be cool if they made this UMD format althought if the movie runs off the actual jak engine than they'd have to scale it down quite aways, it is probably all video footage though so it works in dvd players too.

To tell you the truth I much rathered the Jak series than R&C. The first R&C was awesome and fresh but then the next ones in line were the exact same. Jak always seemed to do something slightly fresher which kept me more in favor of it.

Well, they are pretty comparable, i think that any of the jak games are better than deadlocked though! Hehe, I guess it's just not my kinda gameplay.


Anyone know when they announce the winners for that contest? I'm hoping soon...

All I know is I really want to pick up Daxter for ta PSP. I'm thinking this week I will shell out $40 of my hard earned money for it.

Yeah I have the trilogy,the lack luster Jak X and Daxter for my PSP.
Huge fan, as you can tell, like alot of dedicated fans I have my fingers crossed that ND show SOMETHING at E3 of their supposed next Jak game(exclusive to PS3 of course :P)

Daxter is fucking awesome, I was late for a class yesterday because I couldn't stop playing the bastard. Hehe, its too much damn fun.

Yeah I read about it on IGN, got no idea what to think of it.
Isn't it like a multiplayer game or something? apparently going to rely on Sony's online network they're setting up for the PS3.

As much of a JnD nut as I am I really dont want them to attempt something new. Jak X was just awful and all I want is the next part of the single player story to happen on PS3.
