2lions, those tab looks really cool, but what is the recommeded resolution for this new layout? I'm using 800x600 and needs to drag all the way to the right to see them all, while on my another monitor (1280x768) I can see it perfectly...

1024x768 is the standard resolution for people on the internet.

not everybody, cr3am. People here, yeah. I can't because my mom likes the big icons... Anyways, on another site the most common was 800x600, although the common OS was Win95, so...

I use 800x600 on the primary monitor to play games, and my secondary to surf the internet. Dual monitors is the best!

....1280 x 768? so everything must look kinda scrunched together?

not really.... somehow the programs know what is going on and never screw up their scale.

1024/800=768/600
everything is the same scale.
and i said default because that's the majority, and it's the best looking. You make icons for 800x600, it'll look bad on everything else

yeah, i just noticed, it's way too big. I have to scroll over in 1024x768.

Shouldn't they get rid of the link "ActionTrip Site" now? I think they should move the bar down one step.

Most peeps who are gamers realize that efficiency is logical, not big icons. And more pixels means more text etc so it is more efficient.

...or you simply want to do two things at the same time, such as editting pics from a folder, you can maximize the folder in one screen for easy browsing, and edit them in photoshoop in another.
...or make webpages, adjust your graphical files in one screen with paint or photoshop, and put them in action in front page...
...uploading your pages, with browsers on one screen, and page editing programs like frontpage in another screen...
...many more things to do when you run out of space on your monitor...

Also, some peeps who want to view twice as much porn, two movies at the same time, and ppl who want to see source html and what it looks like in a browser at the same time. Again, video editing geeks.
Oh yeah, and you can use two monitors at the same time to document the differences between the analog cinema release of star wars episode 2 and the dvd release of star wars episode 2. Or Frank Herbert's Dune miniseries original dvd release and Frank Herbert's Dune miniseries director's cut dvd.
