It's lame. It's more lame than a Spartan in Dead or Alive, because Snake has nothing to do with Nintendo.

There are rumours that master chief/sonic could be in the final version.

And FOR YOUR INFORMATION, the first games featuring solid snake WERE ON A NINTENDO CONSOLE. HE'S BEEN IN A FEW NINTENDO GAMES.

Indeed, Snake was on Nintendo hardware long before the Playstation installments. If you meant he has nothing to do with Nintendo as in he's a third-party character, then point taken...but I still disagree and think it's a nice addition to the game.

Here's some graphical comparisons for all those graphics whores, between the cube smash bros and the wii one. I'm not saying the wii graphics look 'next-gen'(damn i hate that term) or come close to xbox360 or playstation 3, I'm trying to show the graphics whores that this bitch can dish out decent SD graphics, better than original xbox. About 40-50% as crisp as it's more powerful rivals Imho. The fact that it runs in standrd definition allows the gpu (whatever it may be in the wii) to do some nice effects. Not as crisp but nice.
Totally adequate in my book.

Nothing 'embarassing' about that. It looks quite nice. If you recall how spick resdient evil 4 for gamecube looked, I think they can squezze a few more polygons out of this baby yet.

Nonetheless, it's about the fun factor, and graphics are good enough. they don't drag the gameplay down.

EDIT: Damn the pics are gone. Meh.

Yeah, that and the fact that he hasn't had anything to do with Nintendo for a long, long time.

I pity you. Then again, no I don't.

Good. I don't need your pity. You should save all the pity you can muster for yourself, you know, for one of those rainy days, like the day one of your ill-executed personal insults backfires spectacularly.

..hmmm...what day is it today?
...oh yeah...it's one of those days..feeling down?

Well, that's not entirely true. There was that MGS remake for Gamecube.

And seriously, I am not that excited given the Wiimote. I can't imagine enjoying using it for this game. Then again, time will tell.

As for the game bar the controller, I am fucking stoked. Honestly, I was so fucking giddy during the trailer...;jkahsdgkl;ashdfgh

Oh man, almost creamed myself like I do when I watch the Halo 3 trailer.

Smash bros won't be using the wiimmote. It will use classic wiimote(gamepad version) or gamecube controller. But not wiimote for this game.

There's no implimentation of the wiimote? Hrm, maybe it won't suck. Then again, I liked the idea of new gameplay as associated.

They ported it Cube too? But people don't port anything to the Cube!

Yea there was an MGS remake called the Twin Snakes, basically take all the graphical stuff from MGS2 and put it over MGS. Has a lot more matrix slow-mo moments too.

All these bunch of cartoon characters fighting each other just seem silly. I really don't see where the fun is. Well, obviously this game was designed for kids. So I guess the brats from grad school will be thrilled to buy this game, hehehe....

Yian you obviously have never played some Smash with friends. It's definitely hands down the best party game on any console. And since when did you start calling video game characters cartoon characters? You sound like my parents.

Super Smash Bros. Melee is played professionally for prizes given its intricasies.

That's not much of a 'kids game' when you consider that. I'm with NiteX: you sound like his parents.

I've probably logged more hours on SSBM than any other game, ever. Yian, have you even played SSBM? If not, aren't you being like asshole politicians right now?
