The Oblivion update was released as well, which complimented the downloads in the background update very, very well. I ended up playing roughly 2 hours of Oblivion while successfully downloading 12 HD trailers for new games. I'm twice as productive; it's awesome! Xbox 360 has added so much to my singleplayer experience. I used to feel isolated and wasteful, but now I'm accomplishing so much while still being connected to so many. It's too bad the chat rooms haven't been expanded beyond two people. Once that gets nailed down I'll be extatic.

A review said it heats up a fair amount, so that might have some function.

Useful stuff, background download is a god sent! As for rechargeable I've got a uniross, works perfectly.

Yeah, that's what I use as well (Energizer's NiMH rechargable, anyway).
