Guess That Game: Audio Edition - It's Sound-O-Licious!

Guessing games seem to be popular here at the moment, so I figured I would make my own. This "game" is as it seems: post an audio clip of a game from any gaming platform from any point in time (maybe keep it NES-era and after, what with games before that just having bleeps and bloops). I'd say it's best if the clips are kept under 10 seconds, but it's not required. There will be no points or scoring system, the reward is knowing that you've played so many games in your lifetime that you can identify them by sound alone...if you can consider that a good thing.

A couple of simple rules:


One guess per game. If you don't get it right on the first guess, you suck. Deal with it.
Wait for confirmation on the current audio clip before attempting to post one of your own. If the poster of the current clip takes too goddamn long, then I suppose this rule can be bypassed.


If you need audio editing software, look no further than Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/). You'll need lame_enc.dll (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/faq?s=install&item=lame-mp3) if you want to export audio from Audacity as an MP3.

It definitely sounded like the ball roll sound, and a landing sound. Though, usually there's a tattering after a landing as Samus runs really loudly.

It's not my fault you've chosen to limit yourself to one platform over the years and have a shitty memory.

Besides, because newer games have such great sound design it's much easier to recognize a game based soley on it's sounds. But, if you read the first post I am not limiting it. If you want to post a sound clip from a newer game, do it.
