So today Microsoft announced it would repair, for FREE, any Xbox 360 manufactured before January 10, 2006 if it has malifunctioned. Mine did about a week ago so I'm very thankful I won't have to pay the 140 bucks to send the sucker back. This is a good step fior Microsoft and proves that yes they do care about their consumer base. I can't imagine what a Blu-Ray repair will cost or if it will even be available. This could become quite a big hit against Sony if their launch consoles fail in the numbers Microsoft's did. Though preliminary reports have said the PS3 is quiet, cool, and still running after being on for 12 hours straight playing games.

Haha, what does that tell you about the reliability of the Xbox 360? Personally from what I've seen, I think they're very unstable and fragile.. I know a guy that had an X360 for only a few months, and when he went to trade it in for cash, it was freezing up and shit.

Yeah, I haven't had any issues but from what I hear, they're a delicate flower.
