too bad, as good as the game is right now, i cant help thinking what it couldve achieved, its potential, andthe sheer amount of innovation it had promised. Somewhere down the development road, Chris Robert's vision was lost. n thats just SAD.

I'll tell ya what happened. MS felt that Chris is taking forever to develop the game. They wanted it out the door and Chris said no! Well, we all know the aftermath of this little conflict.

yep....a very good game that coulda been an all time classic....Morrowind in space, is a lofty goal.

Maybe it will get some nice mobs to fill in the gaps.

This is where Chris gathers a band of merry developers and starts up a completely independant development group which manages to get funds somehow and creates a game which compeltely topples Blizzard's and MS' and whatever's efforts totally revolutionizing the gaming industry and the best part is the game has photo-realistic graphics and it runs on even a 386SX.

I like it a lot as it is but I do understand that it could have been made more complex and what-not. Microsoft is basically the kiss of death for almost every game it touches.

Crimson Skies was good. It was released too soon possibly because of Microsoft and it was pretty buggy. StarLancer was the only game I think that was really cool AND Microsoft.

AoM was boring. Infact, I find Ensemble games to be a bore.

But I believe with all the information Microsoft gathers from my desolate HD and system information they will be able to better serve me with better software and maybe even hardware oneday.
