It's very handy having a table for homework or cards, among other things.

My sexy television is hidden from passers by. Mild security feature that I appreciate.

Oops, I forgot to empty the garbage. I need to drink far less milk: it's like two gallons a week.

That clock above my bed would NOT stay up. It has fallen roughly 20 times. Luckily, I got a hook and now it seems secure.

Antec knows how to make a sexy case. And yes, those are condoms.

There's a strong possibility we'll be transporting my futon here in addition to
my entertainment center, as lofting my bed allows for another layout that not
only supports more people for videogames, but allows for another person to
stay the night in our room. Oddly enough, I've had my friend visit twice, and
both times my roommate was gone so he was able to sleep in his bed. I doubt
I'll be that lucky again, heh. Though, that's not to say I dislike this setup.
We'd probably have to store the table when it's not in use with the new
setup, so it's debatable that we'll do it. Given it's my futon, I have control
over the situation, so yay!

I'd hate to be the one sleeping on the bed that is resting on top of the two desks.

Heh, the desks lock together with pins. Though, the other point about it sucking to sleep up there is also understandable.

Luckily, I sleep on the bed across from the television.

I find it odd that you just told everyone your room number, and basically where you live.

Digital Limit
October 6th, 2006, 11:26 PM
Eh, you'd have to figure out which residence hall it is, which could take awhile.

Not to mention I couldn't care less if people know where I live.

What threats do I need to avoid?

So where the fuck is the bathroom?

I know this isn't the thread, but I'm not trying to start a whole 360 discussion, it's just a single question.

Do you have overheating problems due to the 360 being in that cramped space? Also, how hot to the touch is it after a few hours of gaming?

Actually, this is the coolest it has ever been. The dresser it rests on is about a foot away from the wall and the flatscreen doesn't take up much of that space. I used to store my Xbox 360 in an entertainment center that had basically no air flow and it'd get extremely hot, but never to the point where I was worried about it. With that, I've yet to have any issues with my system. I'm one of the lucky ones, apparently.

As for the location of the bathroom, two doors down the hall:

I can only wonder what thoughts went through the residents' minds when they caught you snapping pictures in the mens room.

"My God he's already planned me-- I mean, IT out! Oh shit, oh shit!"

Nah, I don't go to the games so when I was snapping pictures no one was around.

Yeah, we have the nicest dorms on campus. This is also the first year this hall has been co-ed.

I remember my freshman dorm hall. Oh boy, there are some great stories there. Like the time we hot boxed the emergency telephone booth, or the flour incident or the time my roommate shit his pants. What an adventure.

My dorm room was pretty much the same old bland gray carpet, concrete-block walls as most are. We did, however, get a sink in the room and only had to share a bathroom with the next room over. Made things a lot easier. Alas, my dorm days are behind me.

At least you showed where all the "action" is going to be...

Nothing quite like taking a bunch of psychadelic drugs, getting a stereo in the shower and a girl that's also tripping under the hot water before you take her back to your bed to giggle and fuck until your roommate comes home.

Disappointed?

Yes, as it used to be an all girls residence hall.

It's funny to see people roll their eyes at my "joke" when I tell them where I stay.

They always go, "Oh, I know." *giggity giggity*

And then I break the news.

Ah Liz Waters.... I've always wondered what the inside of that looked like. Never really ventured in there much due to the fact that it was home to mostly ragingly butch lesbians in the past.

I can tell you that room seems a whole hell of a lot bigger than the coffins that make up Witte.

... How exactly do you have those condoms attached to your desk? If it's by thumbtack, that's a horrible waste of a condom!!

Digital Limit
October 9th, 2006, 06:01 PM
Heh, it's not a thumbtack. I used mounting tape that came in some gift bag.

As for Witte's coffins, my friend from SOAR can agree.

Though, it's not so much the room that annoys him as much as the obnoxious neighbors he has.

He's looking forward to a transfer come semester.

Eh, we're not rich. I just don't have to pay for much, so my income becomes completely disposable which allows me to buy cool stuff.

If by "kicks" you mean "sucks" and by "ass" you mean "balls", then I agree with you.
