In my opinion CS is the unfriendliest online gaming community, everytime i play i see n00bs getting kicked/slain/flamed/yelled at, what do you think

I just got into MW4:Mercenaries and been spawn raped every single game, not too n00b friendly there.

u know, there's noob bashers in every multiplay game; but i guess i'm lucky, cause in every one i've played, there's always a nice l33t palyer to tell em to fuck off and rape their score over and over and over again.

but starcraft was the worst so far; if you make a small mistake in your build order, you're a noob, and if you dominate, you're cheating.

Not only in starcraft, in all of blizzards games. Bnet is filled with bad tempered kids that like to cus and insult everybody for no reason. Warcraft 3 is the same way, i joined a 2vs2 melee game and just because it took me about 3-5 seconds before i started building my team-mate called me a stupid n00b. Can you beleave that? I don't start building instantly and i get called a stupid n00b, he also cursed at me a few times with the most common phrases (Fuck you, stupid n00b asshole, you suck, cock smoker). If you play any game on Bnet expect things like this, you shouldn't be surprised. I'm always ready to ignore their stupid asses.

And one more thing, people call you a n00b even when thats not the problem. A n00b is somebody that is new to a game an doesn't know wtf he/she is doing. Somebody that sucks knows what he/she is doing, but just isn't good at it. People call you a n00b even if you just suck. I'd have to say that about 80% of the people on the internet are assholes.

MechWarrior 4: Vengeance would have been my pick for the friendliest online game. My experience is the game respawns you pretty close to the player who killed you. Maybe Mercenaries is different. At least you're "packed" when you respawn; it's not like you have to run around and look for weapons and ammo.

My worst experience was Team Fortress. Not trashing the game, just the sub-humans on the particular servers I can get a decent ping with.

(BTW future man, better late than never... ;) )

Natural Selection

The day after it came out, people were calling others n00bs. Everybody flames anyone that changes the game at all, people are BITCHES about anything that's been said *ONCE* before on their forums, and it's pretty much a game where people get hugely frustrated and angry while playing.
However, the individual communities are VERY friendly to n00bs and random players. It is just the main community that is the problem.

I would say CS is very harsh. I don't talk to the fuckers anymore. There was a time I whored 5 CTs with an AK and they all call me fucking cheater. I killed them while they were skywalking and they call me a cheater? Fuck off!!!:rolleyes:

Yeah that's true. I said that myself somewhere else...with regard to the fact almost noone cheats on UT2k3 because ppl in there play because they want a good game.

yeah CS is pretty bad, I'm a n00b but I don't suck at all. i'm usually in the middle of the standings or at the near top. so i never get flamed because i don't look like a n00b. people on CS are racist too.

Infantry Online has a very harsh community. I get bashed (along with anyone who isn't "Uber l337", so when I get tired of it, I just hunt the people dishing it out with my trusty sniper rifle. Granted, it just makes them more angry, but at least it's funny then :P

America's Army is also pretty bad, with lots and lots of TKer's.

Unreal Tourmanet 2K3 has some nice people, as does Red Faction, but I don't play many online games, because I'm on a crappy connection.

My vote for worst community goes to counter-strike. They were/are terrible assholes. The worst group of people I know are my school friends. The first time I ever tried to play battlefield with them all they did was TK. That's all they ever do. They've never played the game the way it's meant to be playing, they're always mowing down teammates, mining planes and other stupid shit. Total assholes. I cannot play games with them.

Well I'm just going to say that VE as a site is a terrible place to post your opinion, every time I post something I get some 2 assholes writing back some bullshit and 98% of the time they prove to be total retards.

I think the last one was when I posted some shit about Harry Potter and how pathetic it is when adults read that shit and call it a good book.
