Civilization IV has been overheating my CPU and I have no idea why. I can play BF2, F.E.A.R. and other games that would seem to use more of the CPU/Graphics Card but Civ IV freezes my computer and I have to restart. It takes the CPU to around 65C. Any suggestions?

Get a better HSF.

Does you system become unstable? If not, then I wouldn't worry about 65C. A better HSF would probably be a good idea though. I'd suggest the Zalman 9500 or the Thermaltake Typhoon.

The Zalman's look nice. Do you know of any other decent fans for a lower price?

Not really. The Typhoon should be bit cheaper though.

I've got a Zalman 7000, and I'm happy with it. Although I would probably advise to get the 9500, more bang for your buck.

It can't handle Leonard Nimoy's awesomeness.
