What were your impressions?

I thought it was really well designed. It's a bit more complex than your standard RTS, but I think it'll just take some getting used to. I enjoyed how it didn't feel like I was playing yet another C&C or Warcraft; it's its own unique style.

I was terribly disappointed, however, with how poorly it ran on my one and a half year old machine. I didn't feel that the graphics quality was at a level that should have left my computer gasping for breath. Did anyone else experience similar issues?

I was in the Beta, and I can tell you, you will LOVE multiplayer.

I expected it'd run horrible. I'm not even bothering with the demo. Is it like TA? If it reminds me of that, I'll love it. But I'm not upgrading my computer for a while, I'll deal with my 3 year old computer for a few more months at least.

I fucking hated the demo. It ran like total shit on the absolute lowest possible settings, it's long, boring, and...

This game looked good at one point.

Doesn't sound all that great. I would rather have STALKER or L4D. If I'm not mistaken, this is build lots of units then attack? Or am i missing something that actually sounds fun. Link it FORREAL, now i have to try it....bastards...

What was you PC specs?
AMD Athlon 64 3200 (Venice)
1GB Corsair XMS RAM (2-3-3-6)
2 GeForce 6600 GT in SLI

It ran Oblivion fine with settings on medium, which is why I was shocked at how poorly it ran this.

Ran mine fantastic, no slow down. All settings on the highest possible.

Pentium Core Duo 2 2.66
2 GB RAM
eVGA 8800GTS

The 8800 may be what is allowing me to run it so well. If that is the case they really dropped the ball on code optimization and were more than likely paid by nVidia to code it more in favor of the 8800 series. I have read though that a dual core proc is really where the game picks up even better performance.

No...

I have a 7900GT and I could run on high. The game is almost completely dependent on the CPU. And for you that say it sucks, give a reason.

It looks a lot better in person.

Does the demo let you play all the units? I would love to try the giant spider thingy.

I quite enjoyed it, although I was not overwhelmed with joy either. I think its the kind of game you either like, or not. Especially as its a bit more intricate than your standard RTS. I too was disappointed with the graphics. And another little issue...no unit Acknowledgment when you give them orders; yes they are robots but still...and...I felt the music was a bit bland. Not nearly as cool as the Total Annihilation soundtrack. I would love to try it in multiplayer. Oh, no experimental units in the Demo as far as I could see.

Wow, seems like all games have been like that....forever.

Meh I'm still very reluctant to try it, don't want to waste bytes on a game if it isn't any good.

Uh, All of the experimental units were in the demo. You have to click on the circle under the level three stuff, but you have to do it with a T3 Construction unit.

And theres only one faction in the demo, but I played all of them in the Multiplayer demo!

Just check my picture above. I have 4 Giant Spiders.

I had to turn it into a Jpeg to upload it to Imageshack.

Shitty Quality.

Also, most of the settings are on medium...'
