Get it now. I haven't had any actual issues after 4-5 hours of play. The quests not resetting stuff, meh. So what? Some minor quest where you're told to go kill a pack of dogs for a shitty reward. Who cares? I'm loving it.

Feels rushed. The last two levels (Pripyat and AS) blast trough in a haze. You don't get to explore, get in, kill and win (or loose). Disappointing. The key zone, Sarcophagus is a joke. So many possible strategy approaches ruined by fucking portals.
Id love to cut them some slack but after 6 years they still managed to screw it. May be not as bad as they could have but enough, well enough.
With that said I do think thoguht that the atmosphere in this game is amazing (for the lack of a better word).

WTF! i have a nice computer, but i don't use it for games unless i just love them, so instead im on a less nice lower mid range system. I have almost all the recommended specs, but the problem lies with the sky. I can play all on high, but even on minimum and every other setting, the sky is LAME!!! I will look at trees, then look somewhere else and the trees follow it. If i look around the backdrop is a mass jumble of brown and green, and this ruins every bit of game play. PLZ HELP ME!

Only just got past the Dark Valley but already I know what you mean. There's a lot about this game that you can't help but feel could have been a lot better, but instead they skipped out to work on something else - I have yet to find what that "something else" is.

My only real complaint though is the AI. I'm playing Veteran and it's still showing moments of sheer, brilliant retardedness. I can walk up behind a bandit in his base, blow his brains out with a shotgun, and his buddies won't notice until I stand under the light and jump around. The only clever ones seem to be the military, and even then the bit where they storm the Agroprom (after you score the documents) was a joke.

Otherwise, I'm hella enjoying it.

I enjoy this game tons. Great graphs, plus usually great AI ( I have problems when a guy will stand still, and won't do nothing and won't fire so i knife him)
=Good enough for me. It runs as smooth as any other game.

ive tried the game, i can't see a damn thing, only the HUD and the sky.

It happend before formatting the hd and i got it right updating the game to 1.0000001 but this time it ain't working.. :(

maybe it because of that float32 graphics enhancemend whatever mod.. or my computer just sucks...

anyone has had this problem? any idea?

anyways i found my problem, so for anyone having the sky bug in dets 158.18 or similar, try using Antialiasing Mode set to Enhance Application Setting in your detonators control panel.
