BTW, I did design this site (it's a client site), but I'm not plugging it (I'm sure 99% of you don't live in Colorado and need largescale landscaping work :P) I want input and opinions on the design and overall feel of the site. Please be constructive, if you don't like it, say why!

tis nice, nice and clean but i cant help but think the buttons at the top could be a bit better, maybe have like some flowers or something in them , when not rolled over in the bud, when rolled over they bloom or something, but the design is good, 1 thing tho, i think the colour is too dark and sinister for a gardening site, i would use more vibrant colours if i was you, like pinks oranges, yellows etc black isnt the best choice in my opinion

Yeah, the buttons are a little boring, and greys aren't the best colour scheme for a landscaping site. Like F4LLeN said, more vibrant colours, but I'd stick to greens and browns.

The people I did it for like the darker side, because they felt it made you want to see more color, rather then just give it to you right away..

We were going to do something fancy with the buttons, but due to the massive amount of bandwidth the site takes up we decided to keep it down. Plus I suck with flash.

I'm not the best designer, but I'm a pretty good coder. I wish I had someone working with me to do designs, but the only person I know that can design better then me (I know personally, that is) lives halfway across the world :(

But anyways, thanks for the input, it does help me out ;)

why not leave the pictures black and white but make the site in earthy colours?

I like the overall layout and pictures complie each other. Buttons are also good somewhat basic but they blend in nicely into the layout. Im not very happy with the font though but its just me ;) . All together this is a very good work well done!
