I was watching smallville just now, and klark was using his super speed. Then I started thinking about the Matrix, then i thought about superman. If superman knew kung fu he could combine that with his super speed to do some dope ass matrix style kung fu fighting. The fight sequence on tonight's episode was pretty darn good as far as that show goes. I'd like to see some crossover episodes. I can't think of any cool DC properties though...

the silly thing about you guys having the thing for kung fu is that you people think that kungfu is for the mighty to be stronger.

if you would listen to any of the elder teachers teaching kung fu. they would tell you that kungfu is for the weak, against the stronger. half of the time chinese kungfu requires agility and quick movement. to dodge enemy blows. and if you often noticed. because the kungfu was designed for the weak against the weak; kungfu often contain moves like thrusting neck and vital points instead of exchanging blows in the style of fighting fire with fire(plain brutal "i hit u and u hit me back until one of us falls dead" style).

of course you wont supposed to kill during those taekwondo or kungfu tournaments. there were rules controlling those matches to ensure no fatalities were caused intentionally. people started learning kungfu as a wealing. but they emerge to become strong fighters. but they are still fearful, what goes around, comes around. if my punch can hurt them, they can hurt me. so they still need to be quick, agilie, dodge enemy hits, strike hard and fast.(that is try to hit and not let your enemy hit you. think that's cowardly? it wont be if that technique can beat you.)

hollywood's special effects make kungfu seemed like a very mysterious ability. but the fact is the best age to START learning kungfu is from 4. no kidding. next time try challenging a kid of 4 to do some yoga movements. their muslces werent developed. and so every single muscle have the ability to get used to moving and stretching. while adults, their muscles have developed, and some never used often. thus when trying to stretch muscles that you have almost never used before might feel like hell. but it isnt that hurting for a kid. they get used to it fast. and with constant practise they can be VERYVERY fluid with their movements.

jet li spent his youth learning in shaolin. and that explains. he is good but he cant be fast enough to dodge bullets. if he is fast enough to dodge bullets, why did he need kungfu?

now superman have a body that is so hard that... not even bullets can hurt him. and he's already faster then the bullet. and stronger then a train. i mean if you have such abilities, would you bother learning the arts of kungfu where it teaches you to dodge something which wont hurt you? and dodging, now superman doesnt need to learn kungfu to dodge any blows from anyone. and his strength. i mean does he need to neccesary hit your vital point to make you fall flat on the floor? he can just hit u anywhre with a finger and you might even die. so give superman a reason why he should spent time learning something he don't need.

so superman learning kungfu is maybe .... VERY MUCH unneccesary. thank you for your time.
