I need to get some protection on my computer.. some free stuff :P I don't want to crack norton or anything because it usually ends up updating and fucking me over and leaving me unprotected so i just want to get one of those free virus protection things. Any of you guys got any suggestions? Preferarbly one without automatic updates/pop ups because i play a full screen game on my computer quite alot.

Ive survived long enough because ive downloaded music off safe torents, but i need to get some single songs that aren't there off limewire and limewire is full of bitch-ass viruses.

AVG sucks cock.

The best free virus protection is to disconnect from the interweb.

So I guess this is goodbye and fuck off.

NOD32 is worth paying for. Coming from someone who stopped drinking cheap coffee because it takes away from videogame money.

Use gmail and don't browse dodgy sites. I haven't had antivirus in years, no problems.

I was dead serious. It's the best route if you disconnect from the world. No viruses unless you buy a bad piece of software.

AVG rocks. It constantly updates, uses barely any system resources and I've had zero virus attacks since I got it. It catches everything and I'm always downloading shit. I've used it for nearly two years and it's so minimalist I don't even know it's there. Norton and McAffee suck ass and you have to buy that bullshit. AVG sucks my cock then swallows. It also gives me backrubs.

I use AVG as well. Its offers great protection, and it uses very little system resource. I recommend it to all my customers. Whatever you do, don't get Norton.

Virus Bulletin lists AVG as the best anti-virus solution, too!

AVG Free edition is fine , you can use Kaspersky , NOD32 and Norton 360 also but AVG is some what less annoying .and use software section next time

I used to use AVG, but it missed like 5 viruses when I brought my pendrive back from the goddamn computer lab at my campus.

Now I use Avast!, while a little annoying with its stupid update notifications, seems to catch more viruses.

If you want downloadable songs, try Project Playlist.

http://www.projectplaylist.com/

I'm pretty sure if you follow the right links, it will lead you to an MP3 file of the song, which you can download. I don't know if it has more total files than Limewire, but it certainly has the obscure trance songs I can't seem to find anywhere else...

They're not random, they're schedualed.

Go into the options and put them at a time better for you. Like 1AM if you go to bed at 1AM.
