Surround Sound not working :/

Well i have a 5.1 surround system ( i think )... I have 6 speakers.. 5 small square ones and my central speakers..then my sub too. Creative .

However only two of the small square speakers and my sub works.. the central speakers and none of the other square ones are working... There is not even any static coming out of them .. If i turn the volume on high and play no music only the two little speakers have that static speaker noise coming out of them...

Any suggestions? I guess everyone is going to say check my drivers are updates.. but im pretty sure ive done this.

Music is in Stereo only. Try and find something that has 5.1 audio in it.

Oh lol, i knew some music doesnt have surroudn soudn but i was pretty sure some tracks do..?

No, they're just stereo. If you have a creative sound card then you can enable their CMSS-3D StereoXpand. If you have an onboard system then you probably have an app that can test the 5.1 speaker configuration.
